New look ZIRA launches AI Telco Platform to improve telecoms business processes

The new flagship product signals the evolution and global expansion of the rebranded ZIRA Group.

Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jan 23rd, 2025 – ZIRA Group, a provider of modular Business Support Systems (BSS) for CSPs, has officially launched its industry-first AI Telco Platform that allows CSPs to leverage BSS data to generate valuable insights, streamline operations, optimize pricing and adapt to market trends. The launch represents a new phase in the company’s development following a major rebrand, global expansion, and investment in new SaaS products.

The ZIRA AI Telco Platform is a versatile solution that converts BSS data into predictive and actionable insights to enable proactive decision-making. It can be customized to support new and existing telecom use cases while meeting the specific forecasting and business intelligence needs of CSPs. The platform also allows CSPs to deliver bespoke customer offerings based on real-time analytics. It integrates seamlessly with IT infrastructures and BSS solutions via an API or database, enabling CSPs to adopt AI at scale.

The platform’s predictive analytics capabilities combine predictive AI for accurate forecasting with a generative AI agent that delivers actionable insights across the organization. From a wholesale perspective, CSPs can use the platform to optimize routes, pricing and traffic volumes in real-time to protect margins, prevent service disruptions, and ensure a seamless customer experience. The platform can also accurately forecast supplier prices up to 6 months in advance. It has already received several industry awards for its positive impact on telecom operations and business processes.

Amir Turalić, Chief Product Officer at ZIRA Group, said: “We’re beginning to see the adoption of AI and machine learning tools across telecom networks and infrastructures, but until now there hasn’t been a viable solution for the BSS layer. CSPs need access to data and insights that will help them to make smarter decisions and be more responsive to changing market conditions. Traditional analytics tools have struggled to handle complexities, especially in real-time when a small percentage change can impact wholesale revenues significantly.”

He added, "The ZIRA AI Telco Platform’s forecasting capabilities help CSPs to manage capacity, pricing and traffic fluctuations, removing risk and uncertainty. Likewise, it analyzes huge volumes of complex network and billing data to better inform decision-making and help CSPs to identify new opportunities. The platform is constantly evolving, and we’re already working with our CSP customers on live projects to support new use cases."

Last week ZIRA Group unveiled its new brand identity, marking a major milestone in the evolution of the company. The rebranding reflects ZIRA Group’s transformation from a family-owned business into a global technology leader, inspired by its focus on innovation and delivering customer-centric solutions.

Emir Bukvić, ZIRA Group CEO, said: “The launch of the AI Telco Platform marks a new phase in our development. ZIRA was founded over 28 years ago, and we have continuously evolved to meet the changing industry requirements. Our aim has always been to deliver seamless, integrated solutions that empower organizations to achieve more with less, combining efficiency with exceptional user experiences.”

He added, “The rebranded ZIRA Group is a new entity that builds on our experience and reputation in the telecom industry. Our new brand is more aligned with our digital-first propositions and the size and scope of the company as we expand into new territories. We’re now equipped to support CSPs in every category, from fiber broadband providers to MNOs and satellite communication companies. Regardless of our growth, we will maintain our core values of trust, empowerment, and customer-centricity.”

Headquartered in Sarajevo, the company now employs over 250 people worldwide and recently opened new regional offices in Riyadh and Dubai to consolidate its EMEA business. ZIRA Group already has offices in Istanbul, The Hague, and Zagreb. Its customers include some of the biggest names in telecom, and its solutions are deployed across over 30 countries globally.
